Dec 7, Inglourious Basterds - Get The DVD

Inglourious Basterds might not be his greatest film, but it still has some great Tarantino moments.

Look at how beautifully modulated the tension rises in the opening scene.

And the scenes in the bar with Diane Kruger show Tarantino's dialogue at full throttle.

Try and read the script as well. See where you think it could have been better! Screenwriters can learn a good deal from scripts by master writers when they don't always reach perfection.

Get the single disc DVD, the Blue-Ray or splash out on the Blu-Ray Special Edition.

As so many producers and directors are keeping an eye out on screenwriters of shorts these days, I'm offering a special service for short film scripts - a coverage report for 55GBPounds

Ask any industry professional 'What's the best way to kick start my screenwriting career?' and most people will suggest writing a short.

But shorts are not poor cousins of full length features. They need to have a unique vision too.

There are so many opportunities for Shorts these days - there are hundreds of Film Festivals and winning an award at one of them is a great way to get your writing noticed.
