Unique Screenplay Coverage
Fees & How To Submit

Supporting you and your writing with
intensive, individual guidance

"Dr Pauline Kiernan's mentoring and script reports are like taking a master class in screen writing. She infused a confidence and belief into my writing when I felt like I had hit a dead end. I really felt Pauline heard my voice in the writing and encouraged me to tell my own unique story. Her support and advice have been an inspiration."

New - The First Ten Pages Report

If there's one golden rule about sending out scripts, this is it:
It's your first 10 pages that have to sizzle.
If they don't, your script gets tossed in the bin. I'm now offering a First 10 Pages Report which will detail what works, what doesn't, suggest how to improve your opening, and give you a few ideas on how to develop the rest of the script.

Scroll down for submission guide.

I Won't Keep You Waiting

I know exactly how it feels to wait for a response when you send out a script. You'll get your report back in a month, often less. Some script services can keep you waiting two months.

What Happens Next?

  • When you make payment on PayPal you receive a receipt and a response to your Screenplay Coverage Submission Form. I'll simply ask you to send your script to my email address as an attachment to an email.

  • That's it.

  • You receive my Screenplay Coverage Report within four weeks, sent to you as an email attachment.

  • I always try to get script assessments back to writers sooner rather than later - as a writer I know what it's like to have to wait!

    A Note on Screenplay Format

Please make sure your script follows the standard industry format. I'm unable to provide screenplay coverage otherwise.

It's worth investing in a special industry-standard screenwriting software if you haven't got one already. You could check out the ones which have been endorsed by professional writers and directors like Final Draft or Movie Magic.

By the way, if you're not writing your scripts to this format you're losing out on one of the most helpful aids to script writing.

What your words look like as a movie script on the page as you write your screenplay is a powerful tool for assessing its cinematic feel, its structure, the dialogue and so on.

Using professional software will also save you a great amount of time because there are so many automatic tools like scene navigation which helps so much with structure, keeping tabs on plot, which characters are in which scene and so on.

And, of course, any script sent out to the industry that is not perfect in presentation just gets tossed in the bin!
